Oligonucleotide Stock Solution Preparation
Oligonucleotides can be transported at temperatures up to +25 °C without access to light.
After receipt, until opening, storing at a temperature no higher than -18 °C in a package protected from light is recommended.
- Before opening, keep the oligonucleotides at room temperature for at least 1 hour and centrifuge at 10,000 × g for at least 20 minutes to remove all particles to the bottom.
- To prepare the solution, add the amount of nuclease-free water specified in the passport using a sterile DNase-free tip with an aerosol barrier and pipet with the same tip until the sediment is completely dissolved.
- Close the lid and leave at room temperature for 15 minutes. Stir every 3-5 minutes for 3-5 seconds.
- Discard droplets by centrifugation at at least 1,000 × g for 1 minute.
- For repeated use of the stock solution, it is recommended to aliquot it for the required number of experiments, label it, and store it at -80 °C...-15 °C without access to light and without subjecting it to repeated defrost-freeze cycles.
